With the Fritzy’s Buyback Program, you can bring your gently used roller skates into our Pacific Beach shop and, if they qualify, trade them in for Fritzy’s store credit to put toward whatever comes next.
It keeps good skates rolling, gives another skater a chance to love them, and gives you a little extra toward your next setup.
How it Works
1. Bring in your skates
Bring your skates to our Pacific Beach shop during regular store hours. Buybacks are currently available in-store only.
2. We’ll check them out
Our team will do a quick inspection to make sure your skates meet our eligibility requirements.
3. Get your offer
If your skates qualify we will give you an in-store credit offer right then. No waiting!
Offers are based on the current retail value, overall condition of the skates, and re-sell demand. Your offer is valid for 7 days.
Which Skates Qualify?
We’re looking for like-new to lightly used quad or inline roller skates that are ready to roll some more.
Skates may qualify if they:
Missing or worn wheels, toe stops or laces don’t necessarily disqualify your skates. We’ll take the cost of any needed replacements into consideration when determining your offer.
What We Can’t Accept
Some skates have simply had a really good run and are ready to retire.
We’re unable to accept skates with cracked or split boots, structural damage, broken or bent plates, severe wear, significant sole separation, water damage, heavily corroded or seized bearings, strong odors, mold or mildew.
We also do not accept ice skates or brands that Fritzy’s does not currently carry.
Not sure if yours qualify? Bring them by and our team can take a look.

Helpful sizing tips:
Remove the shoe from your right, (or longest), foot. Measure with sock if you want space, no sock for a tighter fit. Place a blank sheet of paper against the wall and stand on it with your heel against the wall. Mark straight down from your longest toe on the paper. Measure from the edge of the paper against the wall to the line marked on the paper,
(use cm/mm/in.) Use the sizing chart at left to match your measurement with an accurate size.
Note: It is generally recommended that high-performance skaters go for a more snug (tighter) fit. Remember that leather boots will stretch and form to your foot over time, microfiber boots will hold true to size. For example, if your measurements are between a size 8 and 8.5, it would generally be recommended you go down to the size 8 in leather and give it some time to stretch for a better more secure fit in the long run. NOTE: Toes should never be curled.
